Rethink the burlesque staple - 'the glove peel' with sexy, sensational and most importantly - very, very silly - Valerie "Va Va" Valentine. In this workshop we will go beyond the classic glove peel and add oodles of personality that touch on the importance of simplicity, musicality, timing and tease that will have your audience screaming "More cheese please!!" - Learn a short glove routine with a focus on musicality and humour that's so very "Va Va" - Give face! Loosen up and learn a thing or two about comedic timing and facial expression. - Q&A about styles and types of gloves and how to include them in your routines. Gloves will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes and a pair of dance heels - a sense of humour sold separately. This workshop can be done partially seated for those with access needs. Moderate intensity.
