SEATED Feather Fan Course - 5 WEEKS

Workshop Description

Strike a pose, flick a feather, and unleash your inner show pony — all while seated. TEACHER: Gigi Peach This is a 5-week seated feather fan burlesque course built with access in mind. If standing classes aren’t your thing — because of mobility, chronic pain, fatigue, injury, or because you just love working low and grounded — this class is for you. We’ll work with feather fans, musicality, and storytelling, all from a chair. Over the five weeks, we’ll build skills and confidence, then pull it together into a seated routine that’s dramatic, sensual, and very much not a compromise. The important bits: Fully seated class — no standing required All bodies, all genders, all experience levels welcome Disability-friendly venue with ramp access Feather fans provided (or bring your own if you’ve got favourites) How it runs: Weeks 1–3: feather fan skills, musicality, and playing with movement Weeks 4–5: learning a routine and polishing it for performance This isn’t a watered-down version of burlesque. It’s burlesque that meets you where you are. Access is sexy. Confidence can be seated. Feathers will absolutely fly.
