Workshop Description

Learn the fundamentals of feather fans plus cute choreography with acclaimed teacher Chocolate e'Claire. New to fans? Great. Know a little already? Also great. This beginner course covers the fundamentals of feather fan technique and flow, with a focus on clear instruction and approachable choreography. You’ll learn how to hold and control feather fans, execute basic tricks, and combine those skills into a short, cohesive routine. Chocolate e’Claire has been working with fans for over a decade and teaching for just as long. Classes are structured, supportive, and paced to suit beginners, with plenty of guidance and time to build confidence. What you’ll learn: Correct fan grip and handling Foundational feather fan techniques and simple tricks Smooth transitions and flow Beginner-friendly choreography using feather fans Schedule: Thursdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm Commencing Thursday 23 April 2026. This course is suitable for complete beginners and dancers with some prior fan experience. Fans will be provided or bring your own. 6pm Mondays. Humpy Hall Scullin (Belconnen). The venue has a ramp to the door.
