Act Development - Showcase Course

Workshop Description

Got an act idea you’ve been waiting to try? Bring it to the stage. In this course, you’ll develop your own performance from the first idea through music, movement, character, costume and the finishing details. You’ll have time to experiment, rehearse and get feedback as you make the act yours. Burlesque, drag, cabaret and acts that don’t fit neatly into a box are welcome. We’ll work towards the CBA Student Showcase on Saturday 12 December 2026. You don’t need a finished act to join – just an idea you’re ready to explore. Full weekend rehearsals will be 27-29 November. Showcase is 12 December 2026. Commences 6:30pm Thursday 15 October. Humpy Hall, Scullin
