Feather Fans for Beginners Step into the glamorous world of classic showgirl style with Feather Fans for Beginners - a dance class designed for adults who want to explore the art of feather fan dancing in a supportive and playful environment. Taught by two fan flinging Canberran icons, Chocolate é Claire and Gigi Peach, you'll be in for a flapping good time! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of handling feather fans, including graceful poses, sweeping movements, and fundamental techniques for creating tension, elegance, and drama. We'll break down choreography into easy-to-follow steps, all set to some sultry tunes. No dance experience is necessary - just bring your curiosity, confidence (or willingness to find it!), and a sense of fun. This is a celebration of expression, empowerment, and the beauty of movement. 🌈 All bodies, all genders, all levels welcome 🏠 Disability-friendly venue with ramp access and accessible facilities 🪭 Feather fans provided – or BYO if you’ve got flair to spare! 💪 Suitable for all fitness levels.
